to books
After years of writing for media and organisations, I want to create stories with more time and space. I am therefore working on my first book.
The project is currently in development. This page will later feature its subject, progress and an initial excerpt. I would be pleased to hear from publishers, editors and subject-matter partners who are curious about the plan.

I am Lennard Bonapart, a writer, medical journalist and communications adviser. For more than twenty years, I have interviewed and written for media, publishers and organisations in healthcare and public health.
My background in medical biology helps me quickly understand complex subjects. But the heart of my work is always journalistic: listening carefully, asking the right question and discovering what the story is really about.
Alongside my freelance writing, I am developing Bonapart Media, a medical media agency for larger productions. This personal website is the home of my own voice, journalistic assignments and my path towards authorship.
